Permit to Carry Re-Qualification


The following is the qualifying course for the Permit to Carry Weapons. This is for new permit holders and re-certification for current holders. The cost to re-certify is $ 25.00. We do not accept credit or debit cards at the range. You will also need to pay $8.00 plus tax to the range at the time of re-qualifying.
Re-Certification can be no earlier than 90 days prior to expiration date.

We use B-27 sihouette targets. There are 225 points possible. In order to qualify, you must get 75%.
If you don't qualify, you must take a Permit to Carry Course.

Things to bring:

  • Firearm- .38 Cal Revolver (minimum 5 shot) and up, or 9mm Semi-Auto and up. (No .22 Calibers).
  • 50 Rounds (bring more if you feel you need to shoot course twice)
  • Permit to Carry
  • Iowa Drivers' license
  • Eye and Ear Protection
