Training Specialists

Permit to carry classes are instructed by the Training Specialists Firrearm Instructors, NRA Certified Instructors, and certified Iowa Law Enforcment Academy Instructors.It is 11 hrs. long.

The class is 2 day course. First day is 9 hrs. It will be in the classroom at Sheel's in Jordan Creek Mall located in West Des Moines Iowa, or at Brownells in Montezuma Iowa. This Course is authorized by the Iowa Public Safety Commisioners Office, Polk County, Dallas County, Humboldt County, and Kossuth County to name a few. About 50 Counties authorize this course. The Second day is a 2 hr. shooting course at the Brownells Shooting Range Just West of Montezuma Iowa.
This is a beginner course. No matter what shooting experience the student comes in with, everyone is instructed as if they never touched a firearm before and we work our way up from there.
